Destiny

So this week as definitely been Destiny week with the release of Bungie's (the makers of the Halo Series) new epic game Destiny.

Quite frankly I am loving it... I pre-ordered the Limited Edition but I am a little disappointed I didn't order the ghosts addition and got my hands on my very own ghost.

I didn't get a ghost but I did get some other bits.

So what did I get.

A steel box case for the game.

A star chart. This will go nicely on my wall.

Some post cards from the planets you can visit in the game.

A letter to all Guardians.

A nice case to put it in.

And a book outlining all the weapons and classes.

This is the class that I choose the Warlock.

And this is her.

The graphics are stunning in this game from the wind blowing through grass and the ripples in the water when your dancing in it. Yes you read that right dancing for the first half hour of getting the game we were dancing at one point we had 6 people dancing in a circle. For those that don't know the game is a MMORPG so some of those dancers were strangers which makes it all the more fun.

I have not completed the game yet and I don't think I will for a long while but I have had the pleasure of exploring Earth, the Moon, Venus, the Reef and a little bit of Mars. The scenery of each planet is unique and beautiful in its own way. My personal favourite is Venus its covered in jungle which also covers some impressive ruins.

I want to set things straight with those who are giving some bad reviews for this game. Complaining about the difficulty and lack of loot. The game is designed for cooperative play of course its going to be hard and if you try to a level 15 mission on your own at level 5 of course its going to be hard. I personally haven't has a problem with loot so I don't what people are talking about.

There is also competitive play, I am not one for competitive play but I have enjoyed the game modes on this especially the salvage. Salvage makes you work as a team which I like.

I also like the way that levelling its is not just a case of gaining XP to level well it is for the first 20 levels and after that is it about getting better gear to level up it encourages people to play all the different game modes available in the game.

I would like to just mention another thing that makes it awesome the all star cast, we have Peter Dinklage, Nathan Fillion, Bill Nighy, Gina Torres, Lance Reddick and Peter Stormare.

Well that's all I have to say about Destiny for the moment night play some more now.....

Let me know what you thought of the game by leaving me a comment.
